Ranch Productions Wraps Principal Photography on New Colorado Feature
Ranch Productions has officially wrapped principal photography on an ambitious, generational family drama filmed entirely on location in Colorado.
Inspired by the remarkable true story of visionary entrepreneur Lawrence “Bud” Stoecker, the sweeping narrative explores themes of perseverance, invention, and unconditional love as it travels across three distinct eras: the 1940s, 1960s, and present day.
The film stars Christopher Lowell (Promising Young Woman, How I Met Your Father) and Jeanine Mason (Upload, Roswell, New Mexico, The Perfect Couple) as a young couple navigating the trials of marriage, parenthood, and personal legacy. Joining them is cultural icon Wallace Shawn (The Princess Bride, My Dinner with Andre, Young Sheldon), who co-stars as legendary futurist and systems theorist Buckminster Fuller—the iconic architect of the geodesic dome whose philosophies echo throughout the story.
Rounding out the talented ensemble cast are acclaimed performers Illeana Douglas (Goodfellas), Fred Stoller(Everybody Loves Raymond), Ted Lange (The Love Boat), and Matt Wood (Saturday Night).
Penned by screenwriter Heidi James, the production is brought to life by producers Michael William Downey, Todd Remis, and Jenny Napier, with Dean Stoecker of Colorado-based Ranch Productions serving as executive producer.
